News/Update (05.2010)Dr. Fayez Sabri Jaber Farms can proudly announce that our oil was voted first (amongst 20+ different brands) in an olive oil tasting competition at the Iotex Olive Oil Fair in Amman/Jordan in April 2010. The entire event was covered by CNN and we would like to use this opportunity to thank everybody for the positive feedback received so far and for sharing our success with us.
In the meantime, we are continuously focusing on perfecting the quality of our exquisite olive oil and are looking forward to being certified Organic by the end of the next harvest.

Dr. Fayez Sabri Jaber Farms attended the Gulf Food Fair in Dubai in February 2010, representing the only organic farm from Jordan. Our olive oil was received with great enthusiasm and widely appreciated by all visitors for its exclusive taste.
Dr. Fayez Sabri Jaber Farms is in the process of obtaining its organic certificate issued by IMO (www.imo.ch) and is proud to announce that the yearly inspection of our farms yielded such fruitful outcomes. IMO inspectors were not only satisfied, but positively impressed by the progress and our efforts directed towards healthy organic farming. We made sure that our workers enjoy dignified and neat working conditions; for that matter we finalized the building and refurnishing of the sleeping quarters, with newly installed furniture, sanitary fittings, kitchen equipment and bedrooms.
Furthermore, official test results of our olive oil, conducted by the Deutches Olivenöl Panel (DOP) confirmed the extra virgin classification of our oil, while having a slightly better balance than the standard Italian trade brand.
Despite severely adverse weather conditions in 2009, farms successfully harvested and produced over 95.000L of highest quality olive oil.
